The Career by DESIGN Initiative is an outreach of ASHNATHASHA FOUNDATION committed to solving one of the most pressing challenges in society today—purposeless career choice.
Far too many people wake up every day trapped in careers that do not inspire them, fulfill them, or align with their God-given purpose. This is what we call career misfit—a silent crisis that breeds frustration, underperformance, and unfulfilled potential.
We believe every human being is a purposeful creation of God, designed with unique abilities to solve specific problems in the world. Your career, therefore, cannot be random. It must be chosen by DESIGN—carefully, prayerfully, and intentionally aligned with your purpose.
Career by DESIGN is not about chasing money, status, or trends. It is about aligning your natural abilities with a purposeful profession, trade, or vocation that allows you to live meaningfully, thrive, and impact lives.
Why Career Misfit is a Big Problem
Many respected voices in academia and society teach that the world is purposeless—that we are products of chance. When life has no “why,” career choice becomes shallow and misguided.
But the consequences of choosing a career without purpose are very real:
